Catholic Charities recently honored Principal Jenny Tilaro of Northern Chautauqua Catholic School with the “Hero of Hope” award.

During the Appeal each year, Catholic Charities recognizes a Hero of Hope in each of the eight counties who is making a difference for people in their community. Tilaro, who became Principal in August 2017, was chosen for her efforts to increase school enrollment and promote the school as a safe and diverse environment within the community.

Maria Perez-Cruz, Catholic Charities Chautauqua County District Director said, “Jenny has been and continues to be open to promoting links between Catholic Charities and her school, and we are so appreciative of her efforts to build a closer connection between her school and our organization. We are excited for this budding partnership in supporting students and families. She is an asset to her school, our agency and the entire community.”
