Students from throughout Chautauqua County recently celebrated their musical abilities at the Chautauqua County Music Teachers Association (CCMTA) All County Spring Festival.

Among these talented musicians was a group who began their musical journey at Northern Chautauqua Catholic School. Several of these musicians are currently working with, or began their love of music with, Ms. Rebecca Cicelske, NCCS’ music teacher.

Ms. Cicelske’s extensive curriculum covers both choral and instrumental work, spanning the school’s PreK3 through eighth grade levels. This event provided students an opportunity to demonstrate the experience they have gained through participation in Christmas concerts, Spring Concerts and the annual school musical.

Ms. Cicelske’s ten year tenure has seen the music program blossom, and return to the excellence it had accomplished previously. For more information about Ms. Cicelske’s Pre-K through eighth grade music program at NCCS call 366-0630.
