It was a full house recently for Northern Chautauqua Catholic School's Back-to School Blessing of the Backpacks and Ice Cream Social, launching the school's 30th year after a successful summer fundraising campaign. Many new students joined NCCS as a result of the school remaining open. Returning families enjoyed reuniting with classmates and friends while new families became acquainted. Father Walter performed the blessing and the event was topped off with a refreshing bowl of ice cream.
