Al Detter

Christ Community Church (CCC), 219 Berry Road, Fredonia, recently welcomed Pastor Al Detter as their new interim pastor.

Pastor Al graduated from the Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, IL; Dallas Seminary, Dallas, TX; and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Deerfield, IL.

Married to Marie for 48 years, they have four grown children and eight grandchildren.

He was the Senior Pastor of Grace Church in Erie, PA, for 32 years. Since 2013, he has served as an interim pastor. Christ Community Church is his third interim pastorate. An interim fills the gap between permanent pastors.

Pastor Al may be temporary, but he has a vision for the future. He wants to see the church grow spiritually and numerically. If you’re not attending a church, he’d love to have you come to a worship service at either 9:30 or 11 a.m. on Sundays. You will enjoy contemporary music and hear a relevant and inspirational talk by Pastor Al. CCC provides nursery care at both services and offers a children’s program during the 11 a.m. service.
