Fredonia First United Methodist Church programs set

The Fredonia First United Methodist Church has a number of programs taking place in the next several weeks. The Church is located at 25 Church St., Fredonia

Awana Club is held Wednesdays during the school year in the education wing from 6 to 8 p.m. It follows the Fredonia school calendar. It is open to students K-12. Kids can Have fun and enjoy rewarding games, lessons, and activities that demonstrate biblical truths and values. Plus, there are snacks. 🙂

Brooks Balance Clinic for Seniors is offered Oct. 23 to Nov. 22 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon until 1 p.m. It is targeted especially for Seniors. This clinic can help reduce your risk for falls. Participants are asked to arrive 30 minutes early. The cost is $13 each day attended ($130 for all classes). Wear sneakers and workout apparel. Hannah Hasbrouck Petersen Concert Series presents: the Ring Road Singers at 3 p.m., The performers are a student-led group of 30 music and non-music majors who are accepted by audition. The music director is student Vaughn Lachenauer. The concert features free admission. Donations are gratefully accepted..

Trunk or Treat is planned for Oct. 31 in the church parking lot from 5 to 7 p.m. Enjoy family-friendly trick or treating from decorated vehicles.

Tai Chi Class for Seniors begins Monday, Nov. 26 in the community room on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 to 11 a.m. It ends the third week of January. Note that there will be no classes Christmas week and New Year’s week.
