Rev. George Buchanan to speak to Unitarian Universalist Congregation
The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua welcomes Consulting Minister Rev. George Buchanan to the pulpit on Sunday, Oct. 28 at 11 a.m. Buchanan’s sermon, “When the Rubber Hits the Road,” will propose that ideas and intentions are all very nice, but at times we are called to make hard choices and take unpopular stands. We will use our community worship time together to prepare ourselves for such decisive moments.
All are welcome to attend this service. Immediately following the service there will be finger food potluck. Bring food that does not require utensils to serve or eat.
The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua is a liberal religious community devoted to promoting individual spiritual development, working toward peace, liberty and justice in our immediate and global communities, and providing companionship on life’s sacred journey.
