School district again accepts Feeding Fredonia challenge

For the fifth year, the Fredonia Central School District responded generously to the Feeding Fredonia Challenge. Every year since its inception, the Fredonia Central School’s contribution to the food collection has been essential to its success. With support from the district superintendent, each year the leaders in the high school, middle school, elementary school and Wheelock have worked hard to get the message out to the students about the needs of our community, and the students (and their parents of course) have responded generously. This year, again with the support of District Superintendent Jeffrey Sortisio, the staff and students of Fredonia Central School came through. “The enthusiasm, commitment and caring of the students and staff of the Fredonia Central School District is a blessing to the Feeding Fredonia Challenge,” explains Rev. Cynthia Wickwire Lundquist of the Fredonia Presbyterian Church, “and we are profoundly grateful for their faithfulness to this program.”
