Altar and Rosary Society of St. Dominic Roman Catholic Church news

On Dec. 2, the Altar and Rosary Society of St. Dominic Roman Catholic Church held its annual Advent Dinner in the parish hall. Catering the event was by Fred’s Catering Service of Fredonia.

After the dinner blessing, Jean Tate, president, read the list of members who died this year (2018) which was followed by a prayer. Joining us this year for dinner was the Rev. Romeo Hontiveros pastor of St. Dominic; Msgr. Albert Clody, retired Diocese priest and the Rev. Joseph Walter, pastor of St. Anthony and St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Fredonia.

A special thank you goes out to Lucy Rasinski who made the main door prize, Cecelia Filipkowski and Fr. Walter, who donated other door prizes.

Favors were made by Rasinski and Tate. Desserts were provided by Mary Ann Ellington, Rosie Giambra, Mary Ann Przybyciel, Rasinski and Tate.

Gifts for under the tree were brought in by Carol Reynolds and Przybyciel, which were then used as prizes for games that were played.

A wonderful time was had by all.
