Kids Clothes Closet open at Fredonia United Methodist

The Kids Clothes Closet at the First United Methodist Church of Fredonia, 25 Church St., Fredonia, offers new and nearly new clothing and other items for children newborn through size 6, and expectant mothers. It is open every Monday and the first Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to noon. Use the educational entrance.

Church of the Living Spirit

This week’s speaker is Roy Montgomery. Church services are held every Sunday in the Assembly Hall on Cleveland Avenue in Lily Dale.

Service time is 10:30 a.m. to noon and consists of a spiritual talk, a hands-on healing, a message demonstration, music, meditation and prayer.

Janey Wagner to speak at Unitarian Universalist

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua is pleased to announce that Janey Wagner will speak on Sunday, Feb. 3. The congregation’s theme for February is trust, and Wagner will look at how we define trust and examine why she believes it is the basis for our covenant of right relations. All are welcome to join this service as Wagner speaks on “Trusting Intentions.”

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua is a liberal religious community devoted to promoting individual spiritual development, working toward peace, liberty and justice in our immediate and global communities, and providing companionship on life’s sacred journey. Free community meal in Gowanda Feb. 9

The Trinity United Church of Christ, located at 30 Erie Ave., Gowanda, will host a free community meal on Saturday, Feb. 9 from 4 to 6 p.m. Doors open at 3:30 p.m. There is handicapped access on Erie Avenue. The menu includes beef on weck, au gratin potatoes, vegetable, beverage and homemade dessert. The meal is all- you- can-eat, in-house. Free will donations are not necessary but are appreciated. The next meal is March 9.

Ripley United Methodist Church all-you-can-eat breakfast set

The Ripley United Methodist Church will hold an all-you-can-eat breakfast on Saturday, Feb. 9 from 7:30 to 11 a.m. at 84 W. Main St., Ripley. The menu will include pancakes, sausage, bacon, made-to-order eggs and omelets, home fries, biscuits and sausage gravy, orange juice and coffee. The cost is $7 for all you can eat.

This month’s breakfast will benefit Special ministries of Ripley United Methodist Church.
