Trinity Episcopal Church holds annual parish meeting

Trinity Episcopal Church in Fredonia held its annual parish meeting on Sunday, January 27, 2019, following the 10:30 a.m. worship service. The gathering included a chili luncheon with breads, salads and desserts.

The meeting provided a review of the mission and events in the life of the parish in 2018, in addition to electing new members of vestry and representatives to the 2019 Diocesan Convention. Persons elected to vestry are: Virginia Becker, Cathy Berner, Lucy Bryant, and William Roberts. Emily Ivey and Melisa Eichmann are Wardens.

The annual meeting allowed various ministries of the parish to share what had occurred during the past year, including the Women’s group, Altar Guild, Prayer Chain, Flower Guild, Christian Education, Outreach Committee, and the monthly support of the Friendly Kitchen.

A highlight of the meeting was celebrating the arrival and installation this past year of the parish’s new rector, the Revd. James Clement. The congregation also celebrated the conclusion of several construction projects, including the restoration of the stained-glass windows and window frames within the church building.

Everyone is welcome to join the congregation for worship. Trinity’s Sunday worship schedule: 8 a.m. — Traditional said service of Holy Communion; 10:30 a.m. — Holy Communion, with the Trinity Chancel Choir. Children’s Christian Education begins at 10:30 a.m. with the Godly Play Program. The parish office can be reached at (716) 679-7901.
