St. Dominic’s Roman Catholic Church news

St. Dominic’s Roman Catholic Church is sponsoring free garden seminars for the next several weeks. They will be held at 15 Union St., Westfield on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Church Hall/classrooms. Reservations are required. Call 326-2816. These sessions are open to the public.

Topics include:

March 27: Fairy Gardening, presented by Harvest View Greenhouses, Fredonia

April 3: Succulent Gardens, presented by Harvest View Greenhouses, Fredonia

April 10: Getting the most from your Vegetable Garden, presented by Stan’s Garden Center, Erie, Pennsylvania

April 17: Container Gardening, presented by Stan’s Garden Center, Erie, Pennsylvania

St. Dominic’s annual thrift sale will take place March 29, 30, 31.On Friday, March 29, the sale will run from 1 to 6:30 p.m., followed by Stations of the Cross at 7 p.m. On Saturday, March 30, the sale takes place from 1 to 5 p.m., with Mass following at 5:30 p.m. On Sunday, March 31, the sale hours are 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mass precedes the sale on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. All items are priced to sell! There will be a bake sale, plant sale and 50/50 drawing. The public’s support is appreciated.
