Dan Schall concert set for Sunday in Stockton

STOCKTON — Soloist Dan Schall from Zelienople, Pennsylvania will present a gospel concert Sunday, April 7 at 11 a.m. at Stockton Community Church, 4554 West Railroad Ave., Stockton. Through his music, he shares his love for Jesus Christ, focuses on encouragement and God’s love for mankind. A freewill offering will be received. The public is invited to attend.

Church of the Living Spirit

This week’s speaker is Colleen Vanderzyden. Church services are held every Sunday in the Assembly Hall on Cleveland Avenue in Lily Dale.

Service time is 10:30 a.m. to noon and consists of a spiritual talk, a hands-on healing, a message demonstration, music, meditation and prayer.

SUNY Fredonia Pride Alliance to lead Unitarian service

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua welcomes SUNY Fredonia Pride Alliance as the speakers on Sunday, April 7. Students from this group will lead the congregation in an interactive workshop to address issues related to gender, gender identity and sexuality.

United Presbyterian Church of Dunkirk presents Lenten recital

The First United Presbyterian Church of Dunkirk will present the New Horizons Band of Western New York Brass Ensemble – “Schleptet” on Wednesday, April 10, at noon in the church sanctuary.

The Marsh Memorial Lenten Recital Series is presented as a traditional program begun in 1978, under the direction of First United Presbyterian Church of Dunkirk’s Organist and Musical Director Howard Marsh.

This free musical program is designed to provide members of the church community and the general public with an opportunity for a period of peaceful reflection and contemplation during the hour at mid-week, throughout the Advent and Lenten seasons.

The church is located at 19 W. Fourth St., Dunkirk.
