This event will run from noon until 4 p.m. There will be a cash raffle as well as many unique gift baskets.

On Aug. 11, Blessed Mary Angela Parish will welcome back “Lenny Gomulka and the Chicago Push” for an afternoon of Polish music under the Big Top outside. The parish will feature a Chiavetta’s chicken barbecue with once again, all the trimmings for only $10. The barbecue will run from noon until sold out. The parish will also have a variety and basket raffle, outside food vendors featuring Polish sausage sandwiches, cheese pierogis, hot dogs and hamburgers, Fourth Ward Deli pizza and Pepsi products as well as a beer and wine truck.

There will be a Kids’ World with bounce house, face painting and much more for the kids.

This will take place on the Roberts Road parking lot and church grounds with Lenny Gomulka playing from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m.

All are welcome, so start planning on making these two events a part of your family summer.

Blessed Mary Angela is thankful for all the clubs and businesses who have already stepped forward as band sponsors. Lenny Gomulka is a world-wide recognized orchestra and Blessed Mary Angela Parish could not afford to do this without the help of so many special people and organizations. If any individuals or businesses would like to help sponsor Lenny and have their name placed on the BIG BOARDS in front of both churches, they are asked to call Tony at 467-0891.
