Church of the Living Spirit

This week’s speaker is Lucinda Wilson. Church services are held every Sunday in the Assembly Hall on Cleveland Avenue in Lily Dale.

Service time is 10:30 a.m. to noon and consists of a spiritual talk, a hands-on healing, a message demonstration, music, meditation and prayer.

University Unity of Spirit guest speaker Sunday

Universal Unity of Spirit’s guest speaker Sunday is Dr. Stan Kendz and he will be speaking on “Love’s Light, The Auras of Life.” He received his PhD for his consciousness based research and the contributions that the analysis of his research data contributed to the scientific understanding of human consciousness and it’s connection to the Laws of Nature.

The 11 a.m. to noon service includes healing and meditation, followed by fellowship and refreshments. Universal Unity of Spirit is located at 89 N. Main St. (Rt 60) Cassadaga and all are welcome to attend.

Dr. Kendz will be teaching a class from 1-4 p.m. entitled “LEARN TO SEE AURAS” at Universal Unity of Spirit. Call (716)595-2617 for additional information.

Blessed Mary Angela Church Memorial Day time change, BBQ nears

There has been a time change for the Memorial Mass scheduled by Blessed Mary Angela on Monday, May 27. Instead of 9 a.m., the Mass will begin at 8 a.m. at St. Hyacinth’s cemetery, Lake Shore Drive E.

The Blessed Mary Angela R.C. Parish will kick off the summer with a Weidner’s chicken barbecue, basket raffle and fresh baked goods sale on Sunday, June 2 at the Parish Social Center at 324 Townsend St. in Dunkirk. The meal will feature Weidners chicken with mashed potatoes, gravy, mixed vegetables, dinner roll and butter, Field Brook Farms ice cream and beverage for only $10 per person. This event will run from noon until 4 p.m. There will be a cash raffle as well as many unique gift baskets.

Healing Mass planned at Holy Trinity Church Wednesday

A Healing Mass will take place at Holy Trinity Church, 1032 Central Ave., Dunkirk on Wednesday, May 29 at 7 p.m. Rev. Richard DiGiulo will be the main celebrant. Everyone is welcome.
