Prayer Service at the Shrine for the Unborn

The 21st. Annual Prayer Service at the Shrine for the Unborn will be held Thursday, July 25 at 7 p.m.

The Shrine, located in St. Mary’s Cemetery Route 60, Dunkirk, was created and erected by members of the community, local churches, Knights of Columbus and various organizations for the purpose of commemorating all unborn babies lost to abortion. It is a place of comfort and peace for all who care to sit for a moment in its quiet surroundings.

Fr. Romero Hontiveros of St. Dominic’s Parish in Brocton and Westfield will be the guest presider at the prayer service. All are welcome to come, not only to pray but to support life, from conception to natural death.

During this time of unrest in our state and country, it is good to take a few moments of our time to pray for all life. Bring a chair. In case of rain, the service will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 325 Washington Ave. in Dunkirk.

For further information, call the St. Gianna Pregnancy Outreach Center on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 401-3324 or call Pat at 207-6509.
