‘The Living Rosary’ planned for Wednesday

The Rosary Society of the Blessed Mary Angela Parish together with the Saint Gianna Pregnancy Outreach Center Chautauqua are sponsoring “The Living Rosary” on Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. at St. Hyacinth’s Church at 295 Lake Shore Drive East, Dunkirk.

The “Living Rosary” is a beautiful tribute to the Blessed Mother of our Lord Jesus Christ our Savior. The Blessed Mother appeared to three young shepherd children at Fatima on May 13, 1917 asking them to pray the Rosary every day for peace in the world and we may also pray for our own intentions and for all unborn children.

When praying the “Rosary,” it is important to remember to meditate on the life of our Lord. Each decade or mystery corresponds to an episode in the life of our Lord Jesus Christ and of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

With so much turmoil and unrest in the world today, there is great need for prayer for peace among all nations and respect for human life and dignity.

All are welcome to come and join us in our prayers.
