Unitarian Universalist to host bread communion

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua welcomes Consulting Minister George Buchanan to the pulpit on Sunday, Nov. 24. In this service for all ages, we will celebrate the harvest with a bread communion. Join us for a joyous celebration of food, music, diversity, and the bounty of our Beloved Earth.

Welcome, children and families! During today’s multi-generational worship service, children are encouraged to be part of the congregation. Nursery-age children may remain in the supervised nursery if they and their parents prefer. The room has a large window that allows parents and children to see one another during the service.

After the worship service, we will hold a sit-down potluck meal with dishes, eating utensils, and serving spoons provided. Please bring a dish to pass.

This month, the Social Action Committee is collecting men’s and women’s deodorant for the Silver Creek Food Pantry. We are also collecting non-perishable food for the Chautauqua County Rural Ministry. Please bring these items any Sunday in November.

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua is a liberal religious community devoted to promoting individual spiritual development, working toward peace, liberty and justice in our immediate and global communities, and providing companionship on life’s sacred journey. Our worship services are held each Sunday at 11 a.m. at 222 Temple St., Fredonia. Parking for those who need close access is located immediately behind the building.
