Trinity Episcopal Church Women to hold Epiphany Tea

The Epiphany Tea is set for Feb. 23.

Trinity Episcopal Church Women will be hosting their annual Epiphany Tea on Sunday, Feb. 23 at 3 p.m. This event is held in Garland Hall, which is at the back of the church on 11 Day St., Fredonia. We welcome all to attend.

This event is always held on a Sunday between the Feast of Epiphany in January and Ash Wednesday. The highlight of the event follows the guest speaker when all attendees are invited to have a slice of Epiphany cake and other assorted goodies accompanied by tea/coffee or punch. This year the cake for the tea is being made by Jennifer Wilkins.

The speaker for the tea is a representative of the local group, Partners in Kind. Michele Stalwart will present a short talk on the goals of this group and ways in which the listeners can support their work to reach those that are in need in our community.

Please join us for this free event to learn about this wonderful group of volunteers. If you have noticed a clothes line with bagged hats and mittens and scarves hanging on it, then you have seen one of the Partners in Kinds projects in action. An opportunity for a free will offering will be available and any monies given will be turned over to Partners in Kind to help them with expenses incurred in their work.
