St. Elizabeth Ann Seton to host a women’s Lenten retreat

Ladies, mark your calendars. This morning of Lenten reflection and prayer will take place in the Northern Chautauqua Catholic School.

Carol Mullins of Quiet Whispers Ministry will present “The Path to the Cross: from Passover to the Eucharist.”

“How both the Old Testament and the New Testament reveal God’s plan to give us the Eucharist. After this retreat we’ll experience Holy Week like never before!”

Mullins is an inspirational speaker, pastoral minister at St. John Paul II parish in Lakeview, Scripture story teller and retreat facilitator. Her musical meditations are drawn from the Bible and her life experiences. She has produced several CDS including one entitled “Before Time” and recently “Pillar of Stone.”

The retreat will be offered Saturday, April 4 at the Northern Chautauqua Catholic School, 336 Washington Ave., Dunkirk.

The morning will begin at 8:30 a.m.. with sign-in registration. Coffee and pastries will be available. The retreat talks will follow at 9 a.m. until noon, followed by a luncheon. Please pre-register if possible. Call St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish Office at 366-1750 and put your name on the list. There will be a $5 fee collected at the retreat day sign-in. The event is sponsored by the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church Adult Education/ Faith Formation Committee.
