Workshop on strategies for teaching kids behaviors set

SILVER CREEK — In collaboration with the Christ Chapel Wesleyan Church, Prevention Works, Inc. will be providing a “PAX Tools” workshop on March 23.

PAX Tools is a collection of evidence-based, trauma-informed strategies to improve cooperation and self-regulation with youth. PAX Tools draws on decades of science to create strategies that support parents, youth workers, and other caring adults to create a nurturing environment that ultimately helps kids thrive!

The PAX Tools Workshop will take place at the Christ Chapel Wesleyan Church in Silver Creek, located at 64 Buffalo St., from 6 to 8:30 p.m. To register, please call Barb Hauck at (716) 934-3725.

PAX Tools is intended for any caring adult who interacts with children, such as parents, caregivers, professionals, and volunteers. Caregivers who participate in PAX Tools trainings will receive access to the PAX Tools resources, including the PAX Tools App. Registration is required.
