Church holding ‘sacred ground’ 10 part series

WESTFIELD — St. Peter’s Episcopal Church is hosting a 10-part series titled “Sacred Ground” at 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting Thursday, Aug. 13. Leaders of the Episcopal Church have worked with several contributors in an effort to eliminate racism and discrimination. “Sacred Ground” is a 10-part curriculum that includes documentary films, videos, and assigned readings; followed by deep dialogue circles to discuss content. In an effort to say thank you, Blessed Mary Angela Parish is offering a $1 discount for everyone who purchases barbecue tickets in advance. The dinner is set for Aug. 9. Buy your tickets now at Big Rick’s One Stop or the Fourth Ward Deli for only $10. Wait until the day of the barbecue and tickets will cost $11. Tony Popielarz of the Blessed mary Angela Holy name announces this will be the last dinner until the church does a sausage platter in October. Thank you for your support.
