Grape Belt Seniors cancel summer picnic, Cleveland trip events axed

The Grape Belt Seniors will not hold its regularly scheduled summer picnic in 2020 while the July 15 Day in Cleveland trip is also canceled.

The group’s Pacific Northwest trip has been rescheduled to Sept. 13-20, 2021.

Trips as current scheduled in 2020 include:

¯ Aug. 30 to see the New York Yankees play the Cleveland Indians in Cleveland

¯ Sept. 4 to see “Memories,” a Barbara Streisand tribute

¯ Sept. 28 to the Corning Museum

¯ Oct. 14 to see a musical comedy at the Station Dinner Theater in Erie

¯ Oct. 21-23 to Lancaster County, Pa.

¯ Nov. 3 to the Niagara Casino Customer Appreciation day

¯ Dec. 15 to the Shaw Festival at Niagara-on-the-Lake. Proof of citizenship is required

¯ July 2021 to the Treasures of Quebec by rail

¯ Sept. 13-20, 2021 to the Pacific Northwest

A trip to Italy is in preliminary planning stages for 2022.
