SILVER CREEK — The Silver Creek Senior Citizens met on July 27 with 28 members present.

President Ed Newman welcomed back Teri Weinheimer and then opened the meeting with the Pledge to the Flag and God Bless America. Pauline Flitt read “God’s Creations” and offered a blessing of the food. We enjoyed hot dogs grilled by Earl Sheeler and Harry Suski, and many delicious salads and casseroles. Pauline and Lorrie Newman entertained us with jokes.

The 50-50 winners were: Max Church, Sally Shevlin and Sherry Spano. Wheel of Fortune winners were: Pauline, Harry Suski, MaryAnn Seibert, Sue Borowski, Phyllis Burghardt, Joan Militello, Eleanor Lemiszko and Judy Hahn. Lucky winners of the door prizes were Kim, Ed, and Sherry.

Mind boggling bingo was called by Janice Snyder, and winners were: Lorrie Newman (twice), Earl, Sue, Sally (twice), Pauline (4 times), Judy, Jean McDaneld (twice), Earl, and Ed.

The Silver Creek Seniors met on Tuesday, Aug. 3. with 29 members present. President Ed Newman opened with the pledge to the flag and everyone singing God Bless America. Pauline Flitt read “God’s Creations” and offered a prayer for the meal and everyone’s health. Members enjoyed Pizza and several desserts. Winners of the gifts were Gene Chesbro, Jim Spano and Marge Church.

Lucky card holders for the wheel were: Sue Duecker, Kim Adams, Ron, Betty Moores, Ed, Lorrie Newman, Harry Suski, Jean McDaneld and Max Church. The 50/50 winners were Lorrie, Annette Hoeber and Eleanor Lemiszko.

Pauline called bingo and the winners were: Janice Snyder (twice), Gene (twice), Teri Weinheimer, Ed, Jane Penhollow, Ruth Sheeler, Earl Sheeler and Lorrie.

Next week will be our annual picnic and corn roast.
