SILVER CREEK — The Silver Creek Seniors met on February 8th with 24 members present.

Vice president Joan Suski opened the meeting with the Pledge to the Flag and all singing “God Bless America.” Helen Burt was the visitor for the day. Chaplin Pauline Flitt read “A Valentine Prayer”and offered a blessing to the members and the food. She then entertained us with some jokes. The Valentine’s lunch included pizza, wings and desserts.

The 50-50 winners were Janice Snyder and Claudia Markham Ahl.. Gifts were won by Deanna Borrello, Sue Borowski, Sherry Spano and Joan Suski. Wheel of Fortune lucky winners were: Claudia, Phyllis Burghardt, Gene Chesbro, Sally Conover and Deanna Borrello. Janice called bingo and winners were: Pauline, Eleanor Lemiszko, Sherri, Rose Cerrie, Lorrie Newman, Joan Suski, Phyllis, and Helen. Next week four members will provide sandwiches for the luncheon. Several members stayed after the meeting for a fun game of Dominoes.

A reminder that dues are still being collected and members are asked to bring non-perishable items for the Silver Creek Food Pantry.
