Grape Belt Seniors announce coming events

The Grape Belt Seniors meet for Aerobics and Weights with Catherine on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Masonic Lodge in Fredonia. Classes are open to members and membership is now being taken for 2022.

Any cancellations of class will be posted on Catherine’s Facebook page, Grape Belt Seniors Facebook page and announced on WDOE. Those that have paid membership may join the Facebook page.

All trips, extended as well as day trips, are open to the public, members and non members. Trips are first paid-first reserved.

Day trips for 2022 are:

¯ Syrup and Slots on May 26, Allegany Casino and Sprague’s for breakfast with a cost of $66 due on April 7.

¯ Locks and Carousels on June 14, locks and canal cruise, buffet lunch canal-side, Herschell Carousel Museum, and Platters chocolates with a cost of $110 due on April 7.

¯ Yankee-Cleveland game in Cleveland on July 1, club seats with all you can eat and nonalcoholic beverages till seventh inning with cost of $220 due on May 12.

¯ Buffalo new and old double decker bus tour on July 19, Canalside, Curly’s Grille for lunch, and Parkside candy shop with a cost of $119 due on June 7.

¯ Niagara On The Lake for the performance of “Damn Yankees” on Sept. 22 at the Shaw Festival Theatre, leisure time in town before performance and dinner at Betty’s Restaurant with cost of $192 due on July 26.

¯ Erie Playhouse Theater on Oct. 10 or 17 for the matinee performance of “Something Rotten.”Orchestra seats, lunch at the Concourse at Union Station, Winery stop with tasting with a cost of $129.00 due on Aug. 14.
