The March Birthday Lunch was recently held at the Dunkirk Senior Center. Row two: Judy Presutti, Sylvia Peterson, Bill Berek, Debbie Lanski, Sandy Mackowiak, Becky Addington, Nancy Cinelli, Rosemary Piede, Patricia Holland, Paula Lakas, Roberta Hollander, Barbara Lawson, Karen Sek.

The Dunkirk Senior Center will be sponsoring “Buffalo Double Decker Bus Tour” and lunch at Curly’s. The trip will take place on Tuesday, May 24. Cost per member is $80. The trip will start with a stop at the BFLO Store, then lunch at Curly’s and on to the Double Decker Bus Tour. Sign up in the Senior Center Office. The Senior Center is also sponsoring “Erie Station Dinner Theater.” The Center will attend the Dinner Theater presentation of “The Sweet Delilah Swim Club.” This event will be held Wednesday, June 15. Cost per member is $75. Sign up in the Senior Center Office.

The Dyngus Day Trip to Batavia Casino is sold out.

The Senior Center will be sponsoring a Cinco de Mayo lunch on Thursday, May 5. The lunch will consist of taco, Spanish rice, chips and salsa and dessert. Cost for the lunch is $5 per member. Tickets will be available in the Senior Center Office starting Monday, April 11.

The April Birthday lunch will be held Wednesday, April 27. Any member with an April birthday is asked to call the Senior Center to register. The birthday person may bring a guest at a cost of $7.

Big Bingo will be held Wednesday, April 13. Doors open at 4 p.m. with a light dinner being served at 4:30 p.m. Bingo begins at 5 p.m. Social time is held at the Center every Thursday at 11:30 a.m. Bring a bag lunch and play 25 cent bingo. Dominoes are played on Wednesday at 1 p.m. Advanced Tai Chi is Tuesday and Thursday at 3 p.m. Mah Jongg is Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. Pinochle is Monday and Friday at 1 p.m. Exercise is Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9 a.m. Electronic classes are scheduled every two weeks. Call the Center office to register for Cell Phone class, Tablet class, I-Pad class or computer class.

The winner of the March pill bottle guess was Mary Sue Reynolds, guessing just one bottle away from the correct number.
