SILVER CREEK — The Silver Creek Seniors met on June 21 with 28 members present.

President Ed Newman opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance and all singing God Bless America. Chaplain Pauline Flitt read “A Prayer for Friendship”, and offered a blessing for the members and the food for the day. President Newman then welcomed long time member Jean McDaneld who is visiting. Everyone enjoyed biscuits, strawberries with whipped cream, and cheese, pepperoni and crackers.

The 50-50 winners were Dixie Carlson, Ginny Chesbro and Phyllis Burghardt. Winners of the gifts were Don Hoeber, Jean and Sally Conover. Wheel of Fortune lucky winners included: Phyllis, Marcia Stevens, Joan Suski, Sue Borowski, Eleanor Lemiszko, Judy Hahn and Gene Chesbro. Sally C. called bingo and winners were: Harry Suski (twice), Pauline (4 times), Eleanor (twice), Janice Snyder (4 times), Annette Hoeber, Al Wilson, Jan Polisoto, and Sally Shevlin.

Next week the group will honor May and June birthdays with cake, ice cream and assorted dishes. Silver Creek Seniors meet every Tuesday at 1 p.m. For information call President Newman at 716-934-2170.
