SILVER CREEK — The Silver Creek Seniors met on Sept. 6 with 29 people present.

President Ed Newman opened the meeting with the Pledge to the Flag and all singing “God Bless America”. Chaplain Pauline Flitt read “The First Day of School” and offered a blessing for all present and the food prepared by the members.

The lunch consisted of corn on the cob, hot dogs, and cake for the July and August birthdays. The 50-50 winners were Kim Adams (twice) and Joan Suski. Winners of the gifts were Don Hoeber, Dixie Carlson and Ginny Chesbro. Wheel of Fortune lucky winners were: Judy Hahn, Phyllis Burghardt, Joan S., Enebell Mirando, Jan Polisoto and Deanna Borrello. Sally Conover called bingo and winners were: Jim Spano, Gene Chesbro, Judy (twice), Jan, Joan, Pauline, Ginny and Marcia Stevens.

Next week’s lunch will be sloppy joes and sides.
