Silver Creek Seniors hold meetings

SILVER CREEK — The Silver Creek Seniors met on Sept. 13 with 29 members present.

President Ed Newman opened the meeting with the Pledge to the Flag and all singing “God Bless America.” Chaplin Pauline Flitt read “A Prayer for Farmers” and offered a blessing for all present and the food prepared by the members.

The 50-50 winners were Dixie Carlson (twice) and Joan Suski. Winners of the gifts were Don Hoeber, Pauline and Earl Sheeler. Wheel of Fortune lucky winners were: Mark Langer, Al Wilson (3 times), Jan Polisoto, and Joan Militello. Ed called bingo and winners were: Pauline (twice), Ruth Sheeler, Annette Hoeber, Janice Snyder (3 times), Joan S., Mark, and Max Church.

The Seniors met on Sept. 20 with 31 present.

President Ed Newman opened the meeting with the Pledge to the Flag and all singing “God Bless America”. He then welcomed guests Pat Hegedus and Annie Grimm. Chaplin Pauline Flitt read “God Cares” and offered a blessing for all present and the soup, sandwiches and dessert prepared by our members.

The 50-50 winners were Eleanor Lemiszko, Annie, and Sherry Spano. Winners of the gifts were Don Hoeber, Janice Snyder and Dixie Carlson. Wheel of Fortune lucky winners were: Pauline, Eleanor, Arlene Miller, Ruth Sheeler (twice), Al Wilson and Marge Church. Sally Conover called bingo and winners were: Eleanor (twice), Lorrie Newman, Ruth (twice), Ginny Chesbro, Dixie (twice), Janice, Gene Chesbro and Kim Adams.

Next week’s lunch will feature a salad bar.
