Grape Belt Seniors set schedule for the year

Grape Belt members take a trip to the casino in November.
Jan. 4 was the first class of the new year for the Grape Belt Seniors. Most reported a good work out for aerobics and weights and that it felt good being back after being on break. Come join the group on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Masonic Lodge in Fredonia.
You must be a member to attend and the cost is $1 per class. Membership dues are being taken now for 2023.
Trips for the coming year include:
¯ Seneca Niagara Casino, Jan. 23, cost is $42 with a free buffet and $25 in free slot play. Leaving from behind Big Lots at 2:15 and return 8:45 p.m.
¯ Seneca Allegany Casino on June 27 for the Kenny Rogers Tribute. Cost is $99 and includes ticket for show, $20 in free slot play, $10 toward food, buffet will be open. Leave from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
¯ Erie Station Dinner Theater July 19 for “Chicago Speakeasy,” where da dolls and da mugs serve and entertain in this high energy musical comedy. Cost is $119 and also includes a stop at an ice cream shop on the way home. Leaves at 9 a.m. and returns at 6:30 p.m.
¯ Yankees in Pittsburgh on Sept. 17, a 1:35 p.m. game. Cost is $159 and includes $15 concession voucher. Excellent seats in section 114, right behind the Yankee dugout and home base. Leaving at 9 a.m. and return at 8:30 p.m.
¯ Gateway Clipper Cruise on the Three Rivers in Pittsburgh, on Aug. 9 with entertainment and buffet luncheon. Going to IKEA before returning home. Cost is $134.
¯ Oct. 7 trip to Windmill Farms and Oak Hill Bulk Store.
¯ Sept. 7 George Eastman Museum and Strong Museum. The group is waiting for final details for three more trips and will announce. To sign up for day trips call Judy at 716-672-5778 and for multi-day trips call Marianne at 716-672-5778.
