Grape Belt Seniors gearing for coming trips, events

The Grape Belt Seniors meet on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays for aerobics and weights class from 9 to 10 a.m. Participants have to be a member to attend and each class is $1. Memberships are being taken at this time for 2023 The trips coming up are: ¯ June 27 for the Kenny Rogers Tribute Show at the Allegany Casino. Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) is designed to provide low-income older adults access to locally grown produce. Each year Ag & Markets works with state and local Area Agency on Aging (AAA) offices. Chautauqua County Office for Aging Services (OFAS) then distributes the $25 value coupon booklets of this well-loved program to income eligible older adults. The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the Office for Aging Services (OFAS), provides this service. The referrals are processed by the OFAS NY Connects staff.
