SILVER CREEK – The Silver Creek Seniors met on March 3 with 19 members present. President Randy Nurmi opened the meeting with all saying the Pledge of Allegiance and singing God Bless America. The lunch was pizza, fresh vegetables and a delicious cake. Winners of the door prizes were Annie Griem and Jeanne Blakely. Senior Center names new social planner

The Dunkirk Senior Center has announced Robin Carr as the new Social Planner for 2026. Former Social Planner, Nancy Renckens, brought her 11 years to a close and "those are pretty tall boots to fill," Carr said. She plans to bring social events and trips to the many diversified members where there will be "something for everyone" to be involved and have fun whether it's an educational or cultural event, a day trip, cruise, overnight excursion or a casino trek.
