The Cardinal Mindszenty High School recently held its 60th reunion.

Classmates and the Dunkirk High School Class of ’57 gathered at Point Gratiot on Friday for a mixer. On Saturday evening, classmates from Mindszenty attended an informal dinner at the Knights of Columbus.

Bob Wisniewski, a friend of the class, composed and sang a song about Mindszenty High which was well received. The invocation was given by the Reverend Stanley Fedyszyn and a moment of silence was observed for deceased members of the class. Photo albums of school pictures and past reunions were displayed, along with a cake decorated in the school colors of purple and gold.

Committee members included Jim Strychalski, John Sullivan, Marie Kulpa Ganey, Stan Ozga, Sam Sasso and Peter Komada. The Mindszenty school banner was generously provided by the Dunkirk Historical Museum.
