Mr. Wisniewski’s and Mr. Dempsey’s technology and engineering students took second place in The Great Pumpkin Farm Trebuchet contest. The students (Macadam Gadewoltz, Zachery Roland, Travis Drozdziel, Phoenix Ferneza, Jordan Fores, Orlando Soto, Hunter Bailey, Carson Becker, Mike Mulchinski, and Lucas Young) designed, built and tested a whipper trebuchet. They had a longest throw of 502 feet and a combined (for three throws) total of 1,195 feet.
