The 43rd Annual Pacos and the 5th Annual Burlett Family reunions were held on Friday night, July 12 and Saturday, July 13. On Friday night, family members gathered at the Pacos Farm, Concord Drive, Fredonia, hosted by Roberta and Peter Pacos.

On Saturday morning, July 13, 14 family members gathered at the Hillview Golf Course on Berry Road, Fredonia for a “Just for Fun” golf tournament hosted by Gary and Nancie Hermann.

Starting at noon on Saturday, July 14, 36 Pacos family members and 11 Burlett family members gathered at the Russell Joy Park lower pavilion in Fredonia. Acquaintances were renewed with family members attending from Florida, North Carolina, Maryland, Wisconsin, Dewittville, Stockton, Dunkirk and Fredonia.

After a 2 p.m. buffet luncheon, the annual meeting was held. Eleanore Pacos welcomed members of both families and a moment of silent prayer was observed for the sick and deceased family members.

Recorded under new business, were two births, one adoption, five high school graduations, two college graduations and three retirements.

A suggestion was made to limit the reunion to Friday night, but was voted down. At this time no plans were made for a golf game get-together.

A buffet luncheon will begin at 2 p.m. Families are asked to bring their own table service, meat and a dish to pass. ln-town family members are asked to pass on this information to their families out-of-town.
