Mr. and Mrs. Tyler Stevens

Mary Kate Bongiovanni and Tyler Stevens exchanged wedding vows and rings on July 27, 2019, at 2 p.m. at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Williamsville. The Rev. Daniel P. Walsh officiated the wedding ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of John and Janet Bongiovanni of Fredonia.

The groom is the son of Fredrick and Susan Stevens of Depew.

Elizabeth Bongiovanni of Buffalo, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. The bride’s other attendants included cousins of the bride, Jennifer Karosik of Depew; Jessica Nowak of Chicago; Isabella Celeste of Williamsville; and Olivia Celeste of Williamsville; Jennifer Bongiovanni, sister-in-law of the bride of Fairfield Connecticut; Danielle Harker, sister of the groom of Lancaster; Christine Ortolano, friend of the bride of Buffalo. Julie Arnold, friend of the bride of Fredonia and John Zasada, uncle of the groom of Depew, read scripture readings. Liv Dailey, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl.

The groom chose his friend, Anthony Battaglia, of Cheektowaga as his best man. Groomsmen included brother of the bride, Timothy Bongiovanni of Fairfield, Connecticut; brother-in-law of the groom, Christopher Harker of Lancaster; cousin of the groom, Jake Zasada of Depew; and friends of the groom, Steven Bryant of Lancaster; Joseph Mogavero of Kenmore; and Paul Stanek of Depew.

A reception was held at the The Wurlitzer Building in North Tonawanda.

The bride is a graduate of Medaille College with a bachelor degree in Elementary Education and Canisius College with a master’s degree in Differentiated Instruction. She is a gifted programming specialist teacher at Heim Elementary in Williamsville.

The groom is a graduate of Medaille College with a bachelor and master’s degree in Accounting. He is a New York State trooper.

Following a trip to Greece, Mr. and Mrs. Stevens are at home in Williamsville.
