Mr. and Mrs. Arash and Ashley Yazdani

Dr. Ashley Julian and Dr. Arash Yazdani were united in marriage Sept. 7, 2019 at 4 p.m. The double ring ceremony took place at Hotel Henry Urban Resort Conference Center, 444 Forest Ave., Buffalo, outdoors in the garden. Reverend Sue Olson, retired clergy, was the officiant.

The bride is the daughter of Philip and Annette Julian of Dunkirk.

The groom is the son of Mohsen and Fariba Yazdani of Davie, Florida.

The bride was escorted by her parents.

Olga Lal, violinist and her accompanist provided wedding music.

The bride wore a lace fit-and-flare ivory gown with beading detail by Essence of Australia. She carried a bouquet of pink and white roses with burgundy dahlias.

The bride chose her sister, Carla Shaffer of Dunkirk, as her honor attendant. Bridesmaids were her sister Sherri Manocchio of Huntingtown, Maryland; sister of the groom Sheeva Yazdani of Miami, Florida; and friend of the bride Alanna Bohn of Fredonia. All bridesmaids wore floor-length navy gowns in various styles.

The groom chose his friend Dr. Rolando Gonzalez Jr. of Madison, Wisconsin as his best man. Groomsmen were cousin of the groom Shayian Keshvari of Toronto; and friends of the groom Rohit Mehan of Davie, Florida and Tristan Bennett of Oakland Park, Florida.

The reception was held at Hotel Henry- on the Richardson Olmsted Campus. A cocktail hour was followed by dinner and dancing.

The bride completed her undergraduate work at Rochester Institute of Technology and medical school at Nova Southeastern University. Children’s Hospital of Buffalo was the site of her pediatric residency. She is currently a Pediatrician at Integrity Health Group in the Buffalo area.

The groom completed his undergraduate studies at Florida State University and medical school at the American University of the Caribbean. He completed residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Buffalo. He is currently a Hospitalist at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo.

The couple honeymooned in St. Lucia, and have returned to their home in Buffalo.
