Jade Bouvier
Yanna Mott

SILVER CREEK — Two juniors at Silver Creek Central School District who are ranked in the top 10 percent of the Class of 2022 have been named nominees for sizable scholarships via the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Jade Bouvier is the Junior Computing Medal and Scholarship Program nominee and was chosen because she demonstrates an interest and ability in computing in computer graphics, advanced math and science courses as well as her service as junior class president.

Yanna Mott is the Junior Innovation and Creativity Award Scholarship Program nominee and was chosen because of her achievement in participation in band/performing arts, advanced design and drawing courses as well as her various leadership roles through sports, student council and band.

Both Black Knights will receive medals and certificates in May. They will each be awarded $32,000 in scholarship money over four years should they decide to attend RIT upon graduation.
