114th annual Prince reunion being planned for August

The 114th annual Prince reunion will be held at Liberty Park in Warsaw at the pavilion on Aug. 14 beginning at 11 a.m. After a potluck lunch at 1, there will be a Basket Raffle. Fund raising for this year will go towards paying mailing of the newsletter and hiring a company to locate sunken headstones in the Milks Cemetery in Persia.

Members are seeking descendants of Job Prince, 1751/2-1827 and Rhoda Kibbe, 1770-1831. Job and Rhoda had 10 children, Mary Prince (Isaac) Wheeler, Samantha Prince (David) Milks, David W. Prince, Job Prince, Jr. Sarah Prince (Peter) Harder, Elizabeth Prince (Clark) Doty, Jonathan Prince, Jane Prince Cook, Morgan L. Prince, Emily Prince (Samuel) Kipe. Most of Job’s children settled in Cattaraugus County area in the early to mid 1800s. There is a family cemetery in Persia.

Many descendants still live in the area.

Please bring your own table service, libation, chair, a dish to pass, something for the raffle, updated family information, ancestor photos, updated birth, death, marriage information.
