BROCTON — Plans are set July 10 for the Brocton Central School Alumni Association events that fund student scholarships. Due to Covid 19 the Chicken BBQ dinner & social event was cancelled last year. However, despite rain, the golf tournament carried on with our dedicated and appreciated golfers funding the scholarships.

COVID regulations are easing up however, things were unsure when plans began for this year. Therefore, our golf tournament will be as usual with an 8 a.m. start at Pine Hurst Golf Course. $70 per golfer includes golf, prizes & hot dog lunch at the turn, skins available and there will be a Chinese Auction. Teams are filling up fast so reserve your spot today. Register as a team of four or individuals will randomly be assigned to a team. The fun continues with a Chicken & Rib BBQ by Weinder’s at the Brocton Legion Post 434 where you can drive thru to pick-up or park and eat inside. Some classes have decided to eat inside together. The dinner includes BBQ Chicken & Ribs, buttered spuds, coleslaw, roll & butter with a Cookie “compliments of Emily’s Bakery” Tickets are $15 and can be obtained by calling Kathy Peters at the Herbert Star Apartments 792-7585.
