The Dunkirk High School Class of 1961 held its 60th year class reunion in Dunkirk from Sept. 10 to 11 of this year. Forty-two classmates and guests gathered at the American Legion Post 62 in Dunkirk Friday, Sept. 10 for a feast of local favorites, pizza and wings from Pizza Village. Saturday, Sept. 11, they enjoyed a dinner at the Clarion Hotel. Many thanks to the staff of both establishments for superior service. Saturday evening ended with a decision to meet in two years for an 80th birthday bash in 20223, and a prayer for the 73 deceased classmates, ill classmates not able to attend, and all who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001.
