Thanks to the generosity of merchants who donated prizes and all who purchased tickets, the Westfield Firemen’s Exempt Association was able to collect $9,148 as part of their summer fundraiser to raise funds which normally would have been collected during the annual Ox Roast, which had to be cancelled this year due to the pandemic. Ed Kneer, President of the Westfield Firemen’s Exempt Association presented the check to Chris Reese, Fire Chief for the Westfield Fire Department. The funds will be used to purchase needed equipment for the Westfield Fire Department.
