Rotary hears about Cornell programs

At the recent meeting of the Westfield-Mayville Rotary Club, Molly Brown, 4-H youth educator for Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chautauqua County, presented the many different STORY programs that she brings to local classrooms and libraries throughout the year. Students learn about soil composition, have the opportunity to raise a worm farm, understand the relationship of farms to everyday meals, build robots, explore the need for bats and many other important environmental issues for sustaining a healthy ecosystem. STORY stands for “Science, Technology, and Opportunities for Rural Youth.”
