Gowanda native takes BOCES post

Anedda Trautman

Erie 1 BOCES Board of Education has appointed Gowanda native Anedda Trautman as the assistant superintendent of instructional services. Trautman will oversee the divisions of Career and Technical Education, Exceptional Education and Workforce Development. As the assistant superintendent, she will be accountable for the performance of students, staff and administration within the assigned divisions; also, for the design, development, delivery and evaluation of instructional programs and services provided by Erie 1 BOCES.

Trautman has been with Erie 1 BOCES since 2017, most recently serving as a director for the organization’s Career and Technical Education division, which she previously served as its associate director. Before joining Erie 1 BOCES, Trautman worked as a principal for the Niagara Career and Technical Education Center of Orleans/Niagara BOCES. With more than 20 years of experience in education, she is also a lecturer for the State University College at Buffalo.

Originally from Gowanda, she currently lives in Lockport with her family.
