Cami Clark

GOWANDA – The Student Council of Gowanda High School named five outstanding Panthers as Students of the Month for September 2022. Honorees are selected based on the following attributes – collaboration, communication, critical thinking and creativity – otherwise known as The Four C’s. These skills and characteristics are central to the district’s mission and values.

Congratulations to Cami Clark, Caitlyn Gangi, Owen Pfaffenbach, Brayden Smith and Maddison Smith on their recognition:

¯ Cami Clark for collaboration: ” Cami is my model office student and collaboration is key when it comes to this job. She always takes the tasks I give her and does a fantastic job,” says teacher Mrs. Jacquelyn Shields. “She’s dependable and very organized and a competent student to have in this role, I’m very fortunate. Cami has also been a role model for other students in my classroom and her song selections for background tunes while she’s working is stellar. Cami Clark is definitely one of the best!”

She is involved in several extracurricular activities and is a dependable member of any group she joins,” says counselor Ms. Jennifer Mattimore. “She was a student representatives for the Gay Straight Alliance at freshman orientation and was able to speak in front of a large group with ease about the many wonderful activities the GSA organizes. Overall: a ROCKSTAR student!”

He makes sure that everyone in the group is working and contributing their ideas,” says teacher Ms. Barbara Dempsey. “He takes the leadership role without dominating the group. He is respectful to all group members. Owen takes pride in his work. He is prepared, respectful, involved, determined and strives for excellence on every assignment.
