The Cassadaga Tree Committee continued its yearly tree planting on Saturday, Oct. 29. Seven trees were planted in various locations on Maple Avenue and High St. in the Village. Mayor William Dorman issued an Arbor Day Proclamation at the Village Board Meeting on Oct. 12 for Arbor Day to be celebrated later. Members of the Tree Committee who planted this year are, from left, Roxanne Astry, Bob Reuther, Rachyl Krupa, Nancy Wickmark, Peter George, Kathy George, Isabella Reuther (not pictured).
