4 Youth sports groups receive Live Like Luca grants

The Luca S. Calanni Foundation’s Board of Directors has announced the allocation of $13,200 in grants during the second quarter of the Live Like Luca Grants Program. These grants were awarded to four local youth sports organizations.

The following youth sports organizations were selected to receive the Live Like Luca Grants:

¯ Catching Dreams Charters: Funding fishing therapy for post-treatment pediatric oncology patients.

¯ Lakeshore Eclipse Softball: Supporting youth registration fees for 12 girls in financial need.

¯ Hilbert College Basketball Camp: Sponsoring basketball camp registration fees for 10 youths in financial need.

¯ St. Francis Basketball Camp: Assisting 25 youths in financial need with basketball camp registration fees.

The Luca S. Calanni Foundation celebrates the life and legacy of Luca Calanni, spreading his kindness and compassion throughout the community. The foundation’s quarterly Live Like Luca Grants Program reflects its mission to provide children with the opportunity to experience the joys of sports, camps, arts, and other enriching activities that made Luca’s light shine bright.
