Benjamin Prescott Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution visited the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens to enjoy hundreds of flowers from all over the world.
The history and presence of the buildings takes one back to an opulent era. Next, thr group gathered at the Holy Cross Cemetery near the grave of Father Baker for a bag lunch. It was a cool comfortable retreat.
They then visited Our Lady of Victory National Shrine and Basilica. The craftmanship, the marble, the wood carvings, the statutes. All exquisite and beautiful.
Upcoming events include: Sept. 21 to 24, the New York State Conference will be in Syracuse; the Benjamin Prescott Chapter of the NSDAR with the Benjamin Bosworth Chapter of the NSDAR will host the District 8 meeting on Oct. 7.
