Cope Foundation 19 holds event, walk

Earlier this month, some of the Cope Foundation 19 children enjoyed an outdoor event held at the Harvest View Halloween activity center near Fredonia. The children and parents enjoyed fun while visiting several animals, many obstacles, a large bounce pumpkin, rides, and several activities. The Cope Foundation 19 takes the children, and parents, on an excursion and adventure event. This provides an opportunity to bond with positive people, especially family. The organization’s third annual memory walk was on Oct. 8. The participants met at Harvest Chapel Free Methodist Church in Fredonia and ended at the memory garden located at 25 Church St. in Fredonia on the property of Fredonia First United Methodist Church. All shared a few minutes acknowledging the memory garden names on the plaque and the beauty of the garden built by Jill at Greener Gardens. Participants also enjoyed refreshing coffee and Timbits sponsored by Gina Kron, owner of Tim Hortons on Route 60 Fredonia. The day ended with a gathering at Domus Fare for great food.
