Yaeliz Alvarez was selected by the Brocton Middle School faculty and staff. She is currently a seventh- grader at Brocton and is the daughter of Zayly Heyliger and Luis Alvarez of Brocton.

Yaeliz participates in softball, band and chorus. In her free time, she enjoys painting, drawing and talking.

Her favorite subject is social studies.In the future, she plans to attend college.

She wishes to tell her parents that they are the reason why she was chosen as Student of the Month.

Jenesis Ortiz

Jenesis Ortiz was selected by the Brocton High School faculty and staff.

She is a freshman and resides in Brocton with her parents, Clarissa and Joel Ortiz.

She is a member of the Junior National Honor Society. Her accolades include being named to the High Honor Roll.

Her favorite subject is math and Jenesis aspires to be an algebra teacher in the future.

Additionally, Jenesis would like to thank her family for helping her to become who she is today.
